Sienna Plantation is a mixed-use, master-planned golf-course community planned for 20,000 homes and 70,000 residents. In a premier location on Highway 6, less than a mile west of the Fort Bend Parkway Toll Road, higher- than-anticipated sales have led to 3,900 completed homes and a strong interest in the area's retail opportunities. Homes in Sienna Plantation are priced from the low $100's to the millions, and are set within architecturally distinct neighborhoods contoured by treelined streets and quiet cul-de-sacs. Acreage is dedicated to park lands, lakes, greenbelts and an 800 acre nature reserve along the banks of the Brazos River.
Community amenities include the 12 acre Club Sienna, featuring a competition pool with diving wells, a water tower, slides, fountains and a water playscape; an amphitheater; lighted tennis courts; a playground; and a sand volleyball court. The Brushy Lake Fitness Center, two more community pools, the 160 acre Camp Sienna sports complex, miles of walking trails and numerous neighborhood parks complete Sienna's amenity list. Sienna Plantation Golf Club features a championship 18-hole golf course, clubhouse, pro shop and full-service restaurant.
Sienna Plantation offers more than 280 acres of premium commercial property along both Highway 6 and Sienna Parkway. The 22,000 square-foot Bees Creek Market is open in the community. Also open are Primrose Day Care and CVS. Several other developments are in the works, including The Crossing at Sienna Ranch, a 19 acre property that will offer 12,000 square feet of ground-level retail and 10,000 square feet of second-story office space in its first phase. Several pad sites also will be sold as professional/office condominiums. Wells Fargo Bank purchased a site at Highway 6 and Sienna Parkway; construction is slated to begin in 2007. Directly across from Sienna Plantation at Highway 6 and Sienna Parkway, a 16.9 acre retail tract is being developed.
At Sienna Parkway and Sienna Springs Boulevard, Houston Community College System is building its main Missouri City campus, HCC-Southwest, which includes a Fort Bend County library, also slated to begin construction in 2007.
